1)No, I don't think humor is always intentional. Many people do things on accident but makes people laugh. But I have experienced someone purposefully trying to be funny but I ended up not being funny. I usually laugh at people when they're joke isn't a routine.
2) Abbott and Costello's jokes are bunch of routines they have practiced. Abbott and Costello's routine caused people to think about what they are trying to say.
